On January 22, 2026, Onondaga County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Antonio Pizzuto, age 36, of the Town of Lafayette, on a violation charge of Disorderly Conduct: Disrupting a Lawful Assembly.
The charge stems from an incident that occurred on January 10, 2026, when lawful protesters were assembled at the corner of Route 11 and Route 20 in the Town of Lafayette. During the incident, Mr. Pizzuto threw a deer head out of his truck window toward the protest area. The deer head did not strike any of the protesters.
Mr. Pizzuto was identified through a deputy’s investigation and multiple interviews with individuals who were present at the protest. Following the investigation, Mr. Pizzuto was issued an appearance ticket.
Mr. Pizzuto is scheduled to appear in the Town of Lafayette Court on February 11, 2026, at 6:00 PM.
