Incident at Grenadier Village Apartments Results in Multiple Injuries; Sword Recovered

Today around 1 am , the Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office responded to multiple 911 calls reporting a violent altercation in the parking lot of the Grenadier Village Apartments in the Town of Salina. Callers stated that several males were actively fighting and that one individual had brandished a sword, resulting in multiple stabbing victims.
Deputies arrived within minutes and located the involved individuals. Three people were found suffering from laceration injuries:

Deputies provided immediate lifesaving medical care on scene, including applying tourniquets to Romanenko, who had sustained severe leg injuries and significant blood loss. A tourniquet was also applied to Camber’s arm due to a serious laceration. Romanenko and Camber were transported to Upstate University Hospital for treatment. Romanenko underwent surgery and is reported to be in stable condition, conscious and breathing. Camber was treated and later released to the Sheriff’s Office custody for continued investigation. Jones, who sustained a minor hand injury, declined further medical treatment.
