Syracuse, NY – The Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office will hold its 2025 Annual Awards Ceremony on Friday, October 17, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. in Storer Auditorium at Onondaga Community College.
The ceremony will recognize members of the Sheriff’s Office and community partners for their outstanding service, dedication, and acts of bravery throughout the past year. Awards will be presented to deputies, corrections officers, civilian staff, and citizens whose actions have gone above and beyond in protecting and serving the residents of Onondaga County.
Sheriff Toby Shelley will preside over the ceremony and offer remarks highlighting the achievements of this year’s honorees and the continued commitment of the Sheriff’s Office to excellence in public safety and community service.
Following the Awards, a Swearing-in ceremony will take place for new Custody, Corrections, and Police recruits.
