On 8/12/2025 in the afternoon, members of the Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Unit responded to 121 Mariposa Street in the City of Syracuse and executed search warrants. During the execution of the lawful search warrants, the following property was located and seized.
- 6.6oz (187 g) of cocaine
- Steven Model 350 12 ga shotgun with a 12-inch barrel
- Mossberg 12 ga shotgun
- A loaded Springfield Armory Hellcat handgun
- A loaded Taurus Judge handgun
- A loaded Beretta Model 21A handgun
- An AK-47 model rifle
- A loaded Tech-9 handgun with a threaded barrel
- A loaded Smith and Wesson SD9 handgun
- Multiple Hi-capacity magazines
- Ammunition in various calibers
- 10 illegally possessed Switchblade Knives
- Scales and packaging consistent with narcotics trafficking
The two occupants and subjects of the ongoing investigation, Nicholas St. Andrews (10/13/1983) and Heather Grems (5/30/1986), were each subsequently charged with the following crimes.
- Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 2nd (A2 Felony)
- Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd (B Felony)
- Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th (A Misdemeanor)
- Criminal Possession of a Weapon 2nd (C Felony) – 6 counts
- Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd (C Felony) – 25 Counts
- Criminal Possession of a firearm (E Felony) – 7 Counts
- Criminally using Drug Paraphernalia 2nd (A Misdemeanor) – 2 Counts
Both were lodged last night at the Onondaga County Justice Center and were arraigned this morning and held without bail.
