Shooting in the Town of Salina

On Friday, July 25, 2025, at approximately 11:55 PM, a group of individuals were involved in an argument near the corner of Galster Avenue and Teall Avenue in the Town of Salina. During the altercation, a male in his 30s was struck by gunfire, sustaining three gunshot wounds to the buttocks and upper leg.
Friends transported the victim to St. Joseph’s Hospital, and he was subsequently transferred by ambulance to Upstate University Hospital. He is currently listed in good condition, and his injuries are not considered life-threatening.
The Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office is actively investigating this incident. This remains an open and active investigation.
