The Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office invites members of the media to attend the graduation ceremony for three K9 teams today at 10:00 a.m. at the Onondaga County Heliport, located on Cessna Drive in Camillus, NY.
This event marks the official deployment of three K9s and their handlers to serve communities across New York State. The graduating K9s will be assigned as follows:

One K9 will join the Rome Police Department

One K9 will join the Syracuse Police Department

One K9 will serve with the Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office
The Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office K9 Unit is proud to provide training for law enforcement agencies throughout New York State. Lead K9 Trainer Sergeant Jeff Neal will be available to answer questions from the media following the ceremony.
