On May 13, 2025, at approximately 10:30 p.m., an Onondaga County Sheriff’s Deputy was responding to a domestic disturbance with injuries in the Town of Cicero. While traveling eastbound on Taft Road and approaching the intersection with South Bay Road, the deputy proceeded through the intersection and was subsequently involved in a collision with a 2022 Toyota SUV traveling north on South Bay Road.
The deputy was transported to Upstate University Hospital with minor injuries. The driver of the SUV was transported to Crouse Hospital with minor injuries.
The incident is currently under investigation. No further details are available at this time.
