Arrest Made Following Child Sex Abuse Material Investigation

North Syracuse, NY –
Detectives with the Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office Computer Crimes Unit, in collaboration with the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force, executed a search warrant on March 13, 2025, on Meadowbrook Dr., North Syracuse, as part of an ongoing Child Sex Abuse Material (CSAM) investigation. The investigation was initiated following the receipt of eight cyber tips from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC), with the first tip received in January 2024 and the most recent on March 5, 2025. As a result of this operation, detectives arrested Korey A. Emmons 21, from North Syracuse, who has been charged with the following offenses: Seven (7) counts of Promoting a Sexual Performance by a Child (D Felony) – Seven (7) counts of Possession of a Sexual Performance by a Child (E Felony) One (1) count of Criminal Possession of a Firearm (E Felony) The investigation remains ongoing, and further developments will be provided as appropriate.
