Arrest of Cedric Judge Jr. in Connection with Fentanyl and Cocaine Distribution in Onondaga County

Subject: Arrest of Cedric Judge Jr. in Connection with Fentanyl and Cocaine Distribution in Onondaga County
On January 23, 2024, the Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Unit concluded an extensive eight-month investigation into the distribution of fentanyl and cocaine throughout Onondaga County by Cedric Judge Jr. 31, a resident of North Syracuse.
Following the execution of search warrants, Judge Jr. was taken into custody and found to be in possession of substantial quantities of narcotics and weapons. The items seized during the search included:
  • 29.2 grams of cocaine
  • 1,854 bags of fentanyl
  • Narcotic pills
  • One loaded Sig Sauer 9mm handgun with a large capacity magazine
  • One high-capacity Glock handgun magazine
  • Scales, cutting agents, and drug packaging materials used in the distribution of narcotics
Cedric Judge Jr. was arrested and is currently being held at the Onondaga County Justice Center, awaiting arraignment on the following charges:
  • Two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd (B felony)
  • Criminal Possession of a Weapon 2nd (C felony)
  • Four counts of Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd (D felony)
  • Criminal Possession of a Firearm (E felony)
  • Three counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th (A misdemeanor)
  • Three counts of Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia 2nd (A misdemeanor)
  • Unlawfully Fleeing a Police Officer in a Motor Vehicle 3rd (A misdemeanor)
  • Reckless Driving (Unclassified misdemeanor)
The investigation and subsequent arrest reflect the ongoing commitment of the Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office to combat drug distribution and ensure the safety of our community. Law enforcement continues to work diligently to dismantle criminal networks involved in the trafficking of dangerous substances.
